Dr. Nihad Ammar
Owner & General Dentist
Dr. Nihad Ammar was born and raised in Chicago and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UIC College of Dentistry, where he was selected for the Honors Oral Surgery program and received advanced training in both simple and surgical procedures, including pre-prosthetic surgery.
Dr. Ammar provides comprehensive dental care with a focus on efficiency, precision, and patient comfort. His clinical scope includes restorative dentistry, endodontic treatment, surgical procedures, orthodontics, and implant-based care, allowing patients to receive a wide range of treatment in one office.
He takes a straightforward, patient-centered approach—prioritizing clear communication and practical treatment planning to help patients make informed decisions about their care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ammar enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Chicago.
Dr. Amer Shammaa
Orthodontist
Dr. Amer Shammaa is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality orthodontic care. His approach combines modern techniques with efficient treatment planning to help patients achieve healthy, functional, and confident smiles. He works closely with patients and their families to ensure a comfortable and well-guided orthodontic experience.
Dr. Shammaa earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his orthodontic training along with a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at West Virginia University. He has experience treating a wide range of cases, including clear aligners, braces, and more complex orthodontic needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shammaa enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and reading.

Dr. Lynn Kholoki
General Dentist
Dr. Lynn Kholoki earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2018. She then pursued her dental education at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, completing her DDS in 2023.As a general dentist, Dr. Lynn has been practicing at B&R Dentists for over a year, delivering high‑quality, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs. She is fluent in both English and Arabic, enabling her to serve a diverse patient population with comfort and cultural sensitivity.
Dr. Lynn believes in patient education, gentle techniques, and preventive care. Her approach is rooted in helping patients understand their treatment options, feel confident in their care, and work together to maintain long‑term oral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Lynn enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling around the world, reading, and giving back to her community. Dr. Lynn looks forward to meeting our new patients, understanding their dental goals, and partnering with them to help them smile with confidence.
